[...] Until recently, Justin was a resident in the Alliance’s Atelier, our very first artists in residency program supported by the Esther B. Kahn Foundation. The program, which ran for three months, provided five up-and-coming artists (all past Scholastic Awards winners) with a storefront studio space donated by arts>Brookfield, along with a monthly stipend and general supplies, to create new works of art. You can learn more about Justin’s experience in the Atelier here: From the Atelier: Creating Art in a Public Space. [...]

St. Petersburg is a treasure trove for the arts: in addition to the amazing Dali museum, there's the Chihuly Center (http://www.moreanartscenter.org/content.php?id=90) and the Morean Center for Clay, the largest pottery in the Southeast (http://www.moreanartscenter.org/content.php?id=30) as well as the Museum of Fine Arts (http://fine-arts.org/). Great post!
