Valerie Crosswhite at work in the Atelier

This past June, we were very lucky to have six alumni artists create work in a downtown New York City storefront for two weeks as part of the ART.WRITE.NOW. Atelier. We’re taking that experience a little further this fall with our very first Artist Residency program, thanks to support from the Esther B. Kahn Foundation. Read on to see who our residents are.

From October 1 to December 31, resident artists will create work in a storefront space turned studio at One New York Plaza. Check back for updates on when you can stop by and see them! Not in New York City? We’ll be keeping you updated with pictures, video and words from the artists themselves. Over the course of their residency, artists will guest blog and answer questions from our audience – on and offline. For now, feel free to visit their websites and see what they’re all about.
